Image
Well what do you know. Just when you thought that the editors of  The Pepper  had given up on keeping tab on the LRVT community and Royal Clan of Nyota or possibly had been claimed by The Room That Shall Not Be Named, bam . They pop up like a wack-a-mole and slap everyone over the head with the latest and the greatest scandals.  So if you are snoopy, or just wonder what on earth is happening in LRVT Subeta-land, drop everything and read this immediately. The ongoing Fued of who controls the weather-- spoiler alert: it's still Webby The topic of weather is so common that in just a few months, it has been discussed over 130 times within the royal family. But why is the weather so popular when it's not for common small talk? Let us tell you. We've all known it for years in the Royal Family. When Mirena gifted her power over wild weather to someone who could reach the outside world, she tried to be discreet. We don't know exactly the terms of this deal with the Sea and Weat

It's a brand new month, and that means it's time for a brand new issue of the best paper on the web. And we have some of the most incredible news you've heard yet in store for you. So find yourself a seat because you will not believe it when you read it. Tea_Roll Announces She Is Stepping Down as Official Poker After a long and poke-filled career, the Nyota legend has announced this month that she will no longer be making any attempts to poke random LRVT members on the forums or abroad. "It was a good run", She said. "One of the best in history! But yeah, everything has to end someday, and today's the day to retire my poking for good."  When we asked about the future of all her special poking sticks, she shrugged and said she may donate them to Oatmeal, or maybe give them back to Elwood. While we are disappointed that there will not be a museum dedicated to these legendary tools used for poking, we hope that... whoever is the new owner will keep the

Return To Sender // Issue 15

What's this? A second issue of The Pepper with less than a year in between? It's a St. Paddy's Day Miracle!! Or is it...no, it definitely has nothing to do with the beloved editors of the paper finally getting their act back together.  This phenomenon may bear some investigating, but it's one that we certainly won't be looking into...instead, we recommend you count your lucky clovers, and cross your fingers that it continues! And of course, keep reading, be  scandalous absolutely charming, and fascinating in our group gathering places, and be sure to send the editors lots of cookies. Shall we get on to the news?  Webby's latest storm gets Returned To Sender Webby, in spite of adamantly denying any and all responsibility for the numerous storms she has caused over the years, has been proven to have sent more than one massive storm across the nation. It's no shock to the members of the clan when the roots of each seasonal storm can be traced back to her secr

It's been 84 Years... //Issue 14

It's been eighty-four years and seventeen days since the last issue of Subeta's most loved chronicles was published. One might think the Nyota clan had turned saintly at long last. But have they really given up their life of Royal shopping sprees, hidden CW closets, and general poking and bopping and dancing with the bears? Has the Empress's endless bopping finally begun to pay off? The answer is clearly a resounding no. Upon seeing her name reported one too many times for bad weather, Webby blew the press right into the Marz… the room we don’t speak of. It’s only by the luck of the Irish Pepper Ghosts that we return to you with these breaking news items. In other words, We're back!!! It does not escape our notice that the final issue was numbered 13. Some might call that a bad omen, but the reporters here don't believe in bad luck, we just believe in coming back again and again. Like heartburn, you say? Well maybe. We are Peppers after all. So where have we b

Insert A Clever Title Here // Issue 13

A wise someone once said that all good things had to come to an end sometime. Another wise someone said hindsight is 20/20. And perhaps an even wiser someone said Find a way or make one. Ten months ago, the loveable and adorable editors of The Pepper  decided to close up shop. You know, put an end to good things. Figure out if we could stop the rapid deterioration of our eyesight by trying out some hindsight instead. Find out that there wasn't a way to avoid LRVT scandals and doldrums and make our own up. But then we got to thinking. (I know, I know. A wise someone once said that thinking was dangerous too.) what exactly is "an end", and whoever decided hindsight was a thing? As for finding ways and making them, you are all about to find out what exactly LRVT has been up to since The Pepper's editors pulled the rug out from under you all and shut it all down.  I assure you that you won't want to miss this at least 2% true report from your favorites. Hey, *

All Good Things// Issue 12

Seasons come and seasons go This winter might be the exception, but in general, that's the way of life.  Here today, gone tomorrow. In with the New and Out with the Old. You get the picture, right? Even good things end eventually. We've had more fun  fooling around for the last twelve issues than Fresh in a roomful of cake, but all good things must come to an end. It is thus with deep regret that your beloved and adorable editors of The Pepper,  have come to the conclusion that it's time to say goodbye. But before we go, we promise that we'll give you an issue you won't forget. Maybe it'll be so impactful that twenty years from now you'll be sitting somewhere sipping your tea (not to be confused with Tea_Roll) and think..."Goodness, remember that farewell issue of The Pepper   I read on that outdated thing called the internet? That was really something." Because that's what The Pepper is. Something. Hopefully, it's been a good, lot-o

It's the endless question that is top on everyone's mind: what the heck is wrong with winter this year and why won't it go already? We're now just a few days out from the arrival of Spring and it seems like the weather masters are not happy about it. With a Cyclone Snow Bomb exploding on the US in the latest episode of the winter that never ends, and snowball missiles flying in frozen streaks over Subeta, go get yourself a hot cup of cocoa and settle in for this extra frozen issue of The Pepper.  Oh, and by the way, Punxsutawney Phil, you're fired! Take A Snowball for the Team With all that snow out there, LRVT is split between hiding deep in the biggest pile of blankets that can be found and the onery few who insist on gleefully pelting everyone else with snowballs left and right. Some try to be sneaky about it, throwing in stealth when they think no one will notice. While others practically jump out of their fur in anticipation of practically knocking the
